A privileged position in wonderful natural surroundings

Dörfl is a small locality in the chocolate-box village of St. Valentin auf der Haide, by the Haider lake in the Vinschgau valley. Here, situated right next to a larch forest, is Sonnenhof – a perfect base for exploring the area. You can go for walks on beautiful forest paths and long winter routes.

St. Valentin auf der Haide

This idyllic village is situated in the Alps at the meeting point of Italy, Austria and Switzerland, on the shores of the Haider lake – a natural lake smaller than the more famous Lake Reschen, but by no means less charming. The Malser heath slopes southwards, affording a breath-taking view of the mighty Ortler massif the highest mountain in Tyrol at 3,905 metres.
